Who, What, Where, Why

Worth The Risk?
Do you know your family ancestors by sight? By name? Can you put the name of a family ancestor to a face in an old photo? Family heritage should be passed down through generations. Younger family members will one day want to know who their ancestors are.

Picture this: You go through boxes and albums of old photos and you find some dating way back to the early part of the 1900s, and maybe even to the 1800s. But, you have no idea who the people in the photos are.

Or, maybe you do know, and you want your younger family members to know, as well. You want to preserve your family photos and history for future generations.

Now Is The Time!
Have those old family photos scanned. Add names to the faces. They can be put in a Digital Photo Album. Have your family history narrated or subtitled. Narrating can preserve a family voice. Or have it all set to music.

Whatever you choose to do with them,
Will You Risk Losing Your Precious Family History?

Those Were The Days Digitized Memories is a small local business located in Vancouver, Washington, that specializes in scanning your photos, negatives, slides, and documents to a digital format.  In addition, once the items have been scanned, a slide show movie, aka digital photo album, can be created, complete with music or voice narration, using the scanned items.

Each item is hand placed on the scanner, lessening the chances that the digitized images will be tilted or accidentally cropped, as can happen when photos are run through an automatic scanner.  Human eyes inspect each scanned image.

Our mission is to digitally preserve your old photos and documents, allowing future generations to enjoy them as well, keeping your family history alive.
